Oneida, NY – On May 17, 2020, at approximately 12:45 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in the city of Oneida for a vehicle and traffic violation.  Upon interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Benjamin M. Sherman, 22, of Ithaca, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 8 ounces of marijuana. 


Sherman was taken into custody and transported to SP Syracuse where he was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.


He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Oneida Court on June 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
