Jamaica, NY man arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. over twice the legal limit on the Thruway.

Albany, NY – On February 19, 2023, at approximately 6:52 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in the city of Albany for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Nazeem M. Roberts, 50, of Jamaica, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%. 

Roberts was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1^st degree; a Class E Felony and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Albany Court on March 13, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
