PRESS RELEASE

On January 1st, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested David Spunaugle, 45, of Jamestown, for Burglary 2nd Degree.

The Troopers responded to a vacant residence in Kiantone for a report of a suspicious situation. The Troopers observed a vehicle parked on the lawn and a subject, later identified as Spunaugle, exited the house. Investigation revealed that Spunaugle had removed several items from the residence that he did not have permission to access. Spunaugle was subsequently placed under arrest. Troopers and a Chautauqua County Sheriff K-9 Unit cleared the remainder of the residence without locating any additional subjects. Spunaugle was transported to SP Jamestown where he was processed and then transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
