PRESS RELEASE
 
On August 24th, 2021, New York State Police arrested Raymond Camancho, 26, of Jamestown, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree. 
 
The Troopers pulled Camancho over on Route 60 in Gerry for traffic violations and after failing several SFSTs, Camancho was placed under arrest.  Camancho was transported to SP Fredonia where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of cannabis.  Camancho was additionally charged with AUO 1st Degree when a check of his driving record revealed 19 suspensions, one of which was for an alcohol related offense.  Camancho provided a blood sample at Brooks Memorial Hospital.  Camancho was then transported back to SP Fredonia where he was processed, issued tickets and released.  Camancho is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court next month.
