On October 25th, 2019, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Ryan Robertson, 47, of Jamestown, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.

Robertson was pulled over on Hunt Road in Busti for a traffic violation and after failing several SFSTs, Robertson was placed under arrest. While being searched, Robertson was found to be in possession of two bags containing methamphetamine, a pipe containing methamphetamine residue, four Percocet pills and three marijuana cigarettes. Robertson was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a Central Nervous System stimulant. Robertson’s driving record revealed that his driving privileges had been revoked multiple times for alcohol-related offenses. Robertson was processed at SP Jamestown and transported to UPMC Hospital in Jamestown where a blood sample was secured. Robertson was then transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
