PRESS RELEASE
 
On July 26th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Andrew Olson, 32, of Jamestown, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
 
Olson drove to SP Jamestown to report a complaint. Investigation revealed that the complaint had already been reported and that the alleged offense occurred in another jurisdiction. While interviewing Olson, the Troopers observed obvious signs of drug impairment and placed Olson under arrest upon his failure of SFSTs. Olson was also found to be in possession of a pipe containing heroin residue. Olson was processed at SP Jamestown and later released with tickets. Olson is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.
