On August 1st, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Miguel Jimenez Morales, 36, of Jamestown, for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and two counts of Harassment 2nd Degree.
The Troopers responded to the city of Jamestown for a report of a vehicle that had rear-ended a vehicle at Route 62 and 60 in Kiantone, continued north on Route 60, struck a utility pole and continue driving into the city of Jamestown. Through witness reporting, the Troopers located the vehicle at 8th Street and Lakeview in Jamestown, where it had struck a curb and become disabled. The driver, Moralez, displayed multiple signs of intoxication and was unable to stand without police assistance. Morales was subsequently arrested for DWI. At SP Jamestown, Morales became belligerent by spitting on the Troopers and urinating on the patrol room floor. Morales refused to provide a breath sample and was subsequently transported to the Chautauqua County Jail. Morales was uninjured from all of the accidents he caused.
