On August 28, 2020, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested John W. Tamol, 40 of Java Village, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated.

During a traffic stop on State Route 78, town of Sheldon, Tamol was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication.  Troopers determined he had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.  Tamol failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.  Tamol was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.15% BAC. 

Tamol was released with appearance tickets for Sheldon town court on a later date.
