Lafargeville Man arrested following a domestic incident in Jefferson County

PRESS RELEASE

State Police in Alexandria Bay arrested Jose M. Martinez, age 41 from Lafargeville, NY, for the following charges:

• Menacing 2^nd degree, a class “A” misdemeanor
• Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th degree, a class “A” misdemeanor
• Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class “A” misdemeanor

The charges stem from a domestic incident in which he displayed a weapon. 

Martinez, a US Border Patrol Agent, off duty at the time of the incident, was arraigned in the city of Watertown Court and was released on his own recognizance.
