Lake Luzerne Man Traveled to Colonie to Meet Underage Girl

Through a joint investigation between the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation based out of Latham, Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, a Lake Luzerne man was arrested after they say he traveled to the Town of Colonie to meet an underage girl.  Investigators say that Kevin Mulcahy, age 31, of Lake Luzerne, NY was arrested on Friday, August 2nd, 2019 by State Police for Attempted Rape in the 2nd degree, and Patronizing a Prostitute.  He was taken into custody without incident, and processed at the Troop G Headquarrters.  He was arraigned in the Town of Colonie Court and sent to the Albany County Jail on $25,000 cash bail/bond.
