State Police hold annual Memorial and Award Ceremonies in Albany

New York State Police Superintendent Kevin P. Bruen commended and recognized 21 individuals and one Division unit for bravery, investigative persistence, police education, traffic safety, community service and overall exceptional contributions in this year’s New York State Police Annual Awards.

State Police to hold 46th Annual Memorial Service and Awards Ceremony

On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, State Police will hold its 46th Annual Memorial Service and Awards Ceremony at the NYS Police Academy in Albany, NY.

This year, the State Police will recognize seven members: Sergeant James J. Monda, Trooper Joseph J. Mecca, Jr., Colonel William J. DeBlock, Jr., Trooper Michael R. O’Donnell, Zone Sergeant James G. Sweeney, Trooper Scott P. Enser, and Major Rodrick C. Covington.
