Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail finds Warren County businesses in compliance

On November 28, 2021 the New York State Police conducted an Underaged Drinking Enforcement Detail in Warren County. During the initiative 22 business were checked for compliance and none were found to be selling alcohol to persons under the age of 21.

On November 26, 2021, the New York State Police in Clifton Park arrested 39-year-old Tasha M. Savage of Schenectady, for Grand Larceny 3rd degree (D felony), Tampering with Physical Evidence (E felony), and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor).

Fort Edward man facing child pornography charges

On November 23, 2021, State Police at SP Wilton, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, and Homeland Security Investigations, arrested 32-year-old Todd Cleavland of Fort Edward. Cleavland is charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E felony).

On November 22, 2021, the New York State Police in Cobleskill arrested 47-year-old Jeffrey Lawrence of Summit, NY, for two counts of Attempted Aggravated Assault of a Police Officer (B felony), two counts of Criminal Mischief 2nd degree (D felony), two counts of Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree (A misdemeanor), Resisting Arrest (A misdemeanor), and Public Lewdness (B misdemeanor).

State Police to increase patrols to prevent impaired and aggressive driving during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend

The New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies will participate in a special traffic safety initiative to prevent unsafe driving behaviors as the winter holiday season kicks off. The Thanksgiving weekend initiative runs from Wednesday, November 24, through Sunday November 28.
