On April 29, 2023, State Police of Fonda arrested Cynthia Mecca, 62, of Amsterdam, NY, for Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, a class “C” Felony.
On May 3, 2023, State Police of Latham, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, arrested Isaac A. Newberry, 41, of Albany, NY, for Promoting a Sexual Performance of a Child, a class “D” felony and Possessing of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony.
During the initiative 19 businesses were checked for compliance. One person was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First degree, a class “A” misdemeanor, after selling alcohol to persons under the age of 21.
On May 3, 2023, State Police responded to a two-car crash on I-87 in Clifton Park.
On May 2, 2023, State Police of Latham arrested David McBride, 54, of Albany, NY, on a warrant for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, Identity Theft in the Third Degree, and Petit Larceny.
On April 28, 2023, State Police of Princetown arrested Zyaire N. Sheppard, 24, of Schenectady, NY, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree.

On April 28, 2023, Senior Investigator Georgeadis passed away from an illness stemming from his assignment in and around the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001
