The State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on the Northern State Parkway at approximately 5:00am.
On July 11, 2022, at approximately 1:14 a.m., State Police were called to the Southern State Parkway, eastbound, near exit 40, in the town of Islip for a report of a one-car crash.
The New York State Police will increase patrols to crack down on drunk and drugged driving and other traffic infractions over the Fourth of July holiday. This special enforcement period will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022, and run through 3 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
