On September 16th, 2022, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Beth Gardner, 41, of Allegany, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs – Leandra’s Law.
 
Gardner was pulled over on I-86 in Randolph for failing to maintain her lane and placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. Gardner was transported to SP Jamestown where she was evaluated by a Chautauqua County Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be impaired by drugs. A blood sample was obtained from Gardner at UPMC Chautauqua. Gardner was then transported back to SP Jamestown, processed, and issued tickets. Gardner is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court next month. The infant that was inside Gardner’s vehicle at the time of her arrest was turned over to a third party.
