On April 10, 2020, at approximately 5 p.m., State Police arrested two individuals at a residence on Old State Road in Lisbon after an investigation of a wanted individual.
An investigation revealed that 36-year-old James R. McLean was hiding at the residence while 29-year-old Krystal M. Hart was protecting his whereabouts by lying to troopers about his location.
McLean, who is wanted on various warrants from the Town of Oswegatchie Court, Ogdensburg City Court, and St. Lawrence County Family Court, was found hiding in a bedroom closet, after Hart repeatedly told troopers he was not there. They were both found in possession of quantities of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
Hart was arrested and charged with one count each of Obstructing Governmental Administration and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. She was released on appearance tickets returnable to the town of Lisbon Court
McLean was charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and one count under the New York State Public Health Law of Having a Controlled Substance in a Non-original Container. He was arraigned in the Town of Canton Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, or $2,000 bond.
State Police were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
