PRESS RELEASE

On October 9th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Tyisha Kaiser, 25, of Fredonia, for two counts of Forgery 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd Degree and Dakatoah Kaltenbach, 34, of Conewango Valley, for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

The Troopers checked on a disabled vehicle on I-86 in Bemus Point, NY. Investigation revealed that Kaiser (the driver) was the protected party in an order of protection against Kaltenbach (the passenger) and that the vehicle was taken from a third party by Kaiser without permission. Both Kaiser and Kaltenbach had suspended driver licenses. Kaltenbach was placed under arrest during which time he was searched and two Xanax pills were located on his person. Prior to towing the vehicle, a search of the vehicle was conducted and yielded the following items: a bag containing heroin, a scale containing drug residue, used syringes, four social security cards belonging to different individuals, two check books belonging to neither Kaiser nor Kaltenbach, two forged checks, four credit cards belonging to neither Kaiser nor Kaltenbach, and four debit cards belonging to a female subject. Kaiser was also placed under arrest and both she and Kaltenbach were transported to SP Jamestown. Kaiser and Kaltenbach were then processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
