Machias man arrested for felony aggravated DWI at four times the limit

On January 9, 2021, SP Machias Troopers arrested Matthew M. Milks, 27, of Machias, NY for Driving While Intoxicated: Two Previous Convictions Within Past 10 Years, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated – BAC Over 0.18%, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, and Use of a Vehicle Without an Interlock Device.

Troopers investigating a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at The Pines in Machias determined Milks had been operating the vehicle in a severely intoxicated condition. Milks was released with appearance tickets for Machias Town Court, where he is due to appear in February.
