On March 28, 2021, at approximately 2:06 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a vehicle that nearly struck the Mountain Mart on State Route 11 in the town of Malone, then left the scene. Troopers encountered the vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Tacoma, on State Route 11 turning into the Running’s parking lot.  The driver, 60-year-old Thomas H. He also refused to provide troopers with proper identification to verify his identity. Lenney was charged with DWI, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree. He was virtually arraigned by the Burke Town Court and released, to reappear in Malone Town Court at a later date.
