Man arrested for sexually abusing a child in Dobbs Ferry

Dobbs Ferry, New York – On July 7, 2022, the New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks with assistance from the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center arrested Charles A. Barbaro, age 53, of Brooklyn, NY, for Criminal Sexual Act in the 1^st degree, a class B felony.

Investigation determined Barbaro sexually assaulted a victim under the age of thirteen-years-old.

Barabaro was arraigned before the village of Dobbs Ferry Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.  He is next scheduled to appear before the court on July 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
