Tarrytown, NY – On May 15, 2021, at approximately 9:20 p.m., State Police stopped a car on I-87 in the village of Tarrytown for a vehicle and traffic violation.  A preliminary investigation determined that neither the driver nor passenger of the vehicle had a valid driver’s license.  During a vehicle inventory, Troopers discovered approximately 6.18 pounds of heroin. 

The driver, Andre S. Hickson, 35, of Springfield, MA, and the passenger, Marlene M. Gonzalez, 39, of Westfield, MA, were taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown where they were each charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree; a Class A Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell 3rd degree; a Class B Felony.

Hickson and Gonzalez were virtually arraigned before of the Town of Greenburgh Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail without bail.  Both are to reappear in the Village of Tarrytown Court on May 19, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
