On May 1, 2023, Troopers arrested Yordanka Ramos Alfonso, age 47, of Miami, FL for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th.
On May 1, 2023, Troopers responded to the Champlain Port of Entry, located on West Service Road in the town of Champlain for drug possession. An investigation determined US Customs and Border Protection Officer encountered Ramos Alfonso when she was seeking entry into the United States on a Greyhound bus. She was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, which was identified as LSD and psilocybin mushrooms.
Ramos Alfonso was arrested and transported to SP Champlain for processing. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Champlain Court for a later date in May.
