On September 14, 2020, at approximately 12:37 a.m., State Police responded to a residence on Timber Lane in Mooers Forks for a report of a domestic dispute. State Police arrested 35-year-old Justin A. Billings, of Mooers, after it was discovered he called and texted the victim, threatening to cause harm to her. He then arrived at the victim’s residence and caused damages to a television. This all occurred in violation of an order of protection. Billings was charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree (E felony), Aggravated Harassment 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), and Criminal Contempt 2nd degree (A misdemeanor). He was arraigned virtually by the Black Brook Town Court and was released. He is scheduled to appear in the Mooers Town Court at a later date.
