On July 30, 2019 State Police in Schodack arrested 35-year-old Joshua A. Hoffman of Nassau, for Driving While Intoxicated, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Troopers stopped a vehicle on State Routes 9&20 after the operator was observed committing multiple traffic infractions. Upon interviewing the driver, Joshua Hoffman, the patrol could smell the odor of alcohol and marihuana coming from inside the vehicle. Hoffman was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Test which he failed, and was taken into custody. A search of Hoffman and his vehicle revealed that he was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and LSD.
Hoffman was arraigned in Schodack Town Court.
