Ulster, NY – On September 12, 2020, at approximately 1:10 a.m., State Police were requested to assist a tow agency with a possible intoxicated patron on I-87, in the town of Ulster.  Upon interviewing the driver, Grzegorz Maczka, 34, of Garfield, NJ, Troopers found him to be intoxicated. 

 

Maczka was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Kingston, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.33%.  He was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.

 

Maczka was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Ulster Court on October 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
