Greenbugh, NY – On September 6, 2020, at approximately 1:25 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Greenburgh, for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Margarito Tambonero, 35, of East Orange, NJ, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.24%. 

 

Tambonero was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and several Vehicle and Traffic Violations.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court on October 13, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
