PRESS RELEASE
 

New Rochelle, NY – On December 4, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the city of New Rochelle for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Robert W. Henry, 28, of Jersey City, NJ, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%. 

Henry was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  Troopers transported Henry to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital for a mental health evaluation after making several suicidal remarks during processing.  He was turned over to hospital staff with appearance tickets returnable to the City of New Rochelle Court on January 7, 2022.
