Clarkstown, NY – On January 25, 2020, at approximately 10:00 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Pedro Cruzgonzalez, 40, of Hillsborough, NJ, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.20%. 
Additionally, Cruzgonzalez has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on February 13, 2020.
