Mamaroneck, NY – On July 13, 2020, at approximately 8:20 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the village of Mamaroneck for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Darya A. Sharymova, 38, of Fair Lawn, NJ, was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license.  She was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.11%. 

 

Additionally, Sharymova has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and is required to operate a vehicle with an ignition interlock device.  As a result, she was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree; both Class E Felonies and Operating a Motor Vehicle with no Ignition Interlock Device; a Class A Misdemeanor.

 

Sharymova was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Mamaroneck Court on August 20, 2020.
