Plattekill, NY – On March 21, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Plattekill for a vehicle and traffic violation.  While interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established. The driver, Jonathan J. Keane, 30, of New Paltz, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 7.8 grams of cocaine.

 

Keane was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Newburgh, where he was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree; a Class C Felony.

 

Kinney was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Plattekill Court on April 5, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
