On June 10, 2019, a Trooper from the New Scotland Station arrested 50-year-old Joette C. Kellogg for Felony Driving While Intoxicated.

At approximately 12:45 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on SR-20 in the Town of Guilderland for a speeding violation.  Upon interviewing the driver, she was observed with glassy bloodshot eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from within the vehicle.  Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and Kellogg was placed under arrest for DWI.

She was transported to the station where she provided a breath sample resulting in a .13% blood alcohol concentration.  Additionally, it was determined that Kellogg had a previous DWI conviction within the preceding ten years resulting in this charge being elevated to a Felony.

Kellogg was processed and released to a sober third party to appear in court at a later date.
