Bethlehem, NY – On November 30, 2021, at approximately 10:40 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Bethlehem for a vehicle and traffic violation.  While Troopers were interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle and the occupants was established.   The passenger, William E. Delarosa, 25, of New York, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 3.3 grams of cocaine and a scale with cocaine residue on it. 

Delarosa was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany.  He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree; a Class D Felony and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.

He was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Bethlehem Court on December 1, 2021.
