Rye, NY – On April 25, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the town of Rye for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Fermin Gonzalez, 47, of New York, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%. 

 

Gonzalez was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Rye Court on May 12, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
