New York State Police are investigating a fatal crash in the town of Tuxedo

Town of Tuxedo - Today, April 18, 2022, The New York State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 7:33 a.m. on Old Route 17 in the town of Tuxedo near the Sloatsburg border. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Old Route 17 when for unknown reasons crossed over into the northbound lane and struck a tree truck that was fully loaded. The operator of the Honda was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. That driver succumbed to their injuries. There were two occupants in the tree truck, both were not seriously injured. State Police are being assisted at the scene by the Town of Tuxedo Police Department and the Town of Ramapo Police Department.
