Catskill, NY - On May 15, 2022, state police from the Catskill barracks observed a Ford Fusion traveling on County Route 23B in the town of Catskill in violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. Troopers stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Michael Connor, age 52 from Goffstown, New Hampshire. While speaking with Connor, troopers could smell the odor of alcohol. He was asked to exit the vehicle for further evaluation. Connor was found to be in possession of a switchblade. A search of his vehicle revealed that he was also in possession of LSD, multiple glass containers containing cocaine residue and a black digital scale, also containing cocaine residue.

He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, both felonies. He was additionally charged with the misdemeanors Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree.

Connor was arraigned in the Town of Catskill Court in front of Judge Jacobs and released on his own recognizance.
