On April 27, 2020, State Police in Princetown arrested 19-year-old Alexandra Priest of Niskayuna, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A misdemeanor), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor), Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Vehicle 3rd degree (A misdemeanor), and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree (A misdemeanor).

State Police attempted to stop a vehicle operated by Priest shortly before noon on Monday, after she was observed speeding on I-890 in the Town of Rotterdam. Priest failed to comply with the Trooper’s attempts to stop her vehicle and instead accelerated. A vehicle pursuit was initiated and ended when Priest’s vehicle became disabled on Sterling Road in the Town of Duanesburg.  Priest was taken into custody and her 16-year-old passenger was released to a guardian. Troopers also located a quantity of LSD in Priest’s vehicle.

Priest was transported to SP Princetown where she was processed. She was issued an appearance ticket answerable in Duanesburg Town Court on May 20, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
