PRESS RELEASE
 

On April 19, 2021 just before 4:00 p.m., New York State Police at Owego responded to a crash involving a school bus. 

An investigation at the scene revealed that 41-year-old Gerald L. Reynolds of Candor, NY was traveling west on West Tioga Street in the Village of Spencer when he crossed over the double yellow line and struck a school bus that was traveling in the opposite direction. 

Ten children ranging in ages 12 to 14 were not injured.  The driver of the school bus, a 48-year-old female was not injured.  They were all additionally checked out by Spencer EMS. 

The crash remains under investigation.
