On June 18, 2020, at approximately 7:24 p.m., State Police responded to a report of an order of protection violation in the town of Oswegatchie. 47-year-old Fern R. Larue of Ogdensburg was violating an order of protection issued by Ogdensburg City Court by sending text messages, calling the protected party and showing up at the protected party’s residence.

Larue was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree (E felony), Aggravated Family Offense E felony), Aggravated Harassment 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), and Trespass (violation). She was arraigned by the Waddington Town Court and released under supervision of probation, to reappear in the Oswegatchie Town Court at a later date.
