Ohio woman arrest for felony Leandra’s Law DWAI-Drugs after Friendship traffic stop

On July 5, 2021, SP Amity Troopers arrested Hannah S. Himan, 38, of New Lebanon, OH for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (With a Child Passenger Less Than 16) – Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

During a traffic stop on State Route 275 in the town of Friendship, Troopers observed Himan exhibiting obvious signs of impairment and determined she had been operating a motor vehicle while in an impaired condition. There were two children present in the vehicle. She refused to submit to standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.  Himan then fled the scene and led Troopers on a pursuit to the village of Bolivar, where she was arrested at a residence on Main Street.

Himan was arraigned in Friendship Town Court, where she was released on her own recognizance. She is due to reappear in that court in August.
