Olean man arrested for felony DWAI-Drugs, drug possession in Hinsdale

On November 7, 2020, SP Olean Troopers arrested David E. Lussier, 37, of Olean, NY for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs – Previous Conviction Within Ten Years, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, and Use of a Vehicle Without an Interlock Device.

During a traffic stop on State Route 446 in the town of Hinsdale, Troopers determined Lussier had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. He was also found to be in possession of Buprenorphine. Lussier was then arrested and transported to SP Olean, where a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation confirmed impairment.

Lussier was released with appearance tickets for Hinsdale Town Court, where he is due to appear in December.
