Olean man arrested for July burglary at Allegany business

On March 17, 2021, SP Olean Troopers arrested Franklin J. Chase, 35, of Olean, NY for Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, and Petit Larceny.

Troopers investigating a break-in and theft from a business on Constitution Avenue in the town of Allegany reported on July 9, 2020 determined Chase was responsible for the crimes. He was indicted by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury and arrested.

Chase was released to the custody of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, as he has been remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail for unrelated crimes.
