On September 23, 2022, the New York State Police will be participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics. The mission of the Law Enforcement Torch Run is to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement. This year Troop B will be running in Plattsburgh, NY, starting at 9:30 a.m., with registration, followed by the Opening Ceremony at 10:30 a.m., and the run will kick off at 11:00 a.m. The runners will start the race at North Country 2022 LETR, 1585 Military turnpike, Plattsburgh, NY and end at the Plattsburgh City Hall. Come out and support the Special Olympics and as you drive past the runners on the roadway please use caution.
