On August 22, 2019 at 2:58 A.M., Troopers out of SP Niagara responded to a one vehicle roll over collision on the I-190 south bound on the Buffalo Avenue overpass in the City of Niagara Falls.  Further investigation revealed that the 2003 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south bound on the I-190 and attempted to avoid two dogs in the roadway, striking both and ultimately causing the vehicle to overturn.  The operator, Georgette M. Potter, 46 of North Tonawanda, NY was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced on the scene by the Niagara County Coroner. Potter was sitting on the buckled seatbelt at the time of the collision.
NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation, New York State Department of Transportation and Niagara Falls Fire Company assisted in this investigation.
