PRESS RELEASE
 
On September 12, 2021, at approximately 3:22 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on State Route 9B near State Route 9 in Champlain. A 2017 GMC Acadia operated by 24-year-old Dalton Dominy of Tupper Lake, was traveling west on State Route 9B when his vehicle ran off the north shoulder of the roadway, striking an embankment. The vehicle then rolled end over end before coming to rest upright in the ditch. Dominy was transported to the University of Vermont Health Network at the Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital in Plattsburgh with a possible concussion. Three other passengers were transported to CVPH also with minor injuries: 21-year-old Kailee A. McCormick of Lake Clear, 27-year-old Darrin J. Clark of Bangor, and 26-year-old Vashti M. McCormick of Tupper Lake.
