PRESS RELEASE
 

Troopers at State Police Oneonta are looking to identify the male pictured below. 

He’s accused of walking out of Walmart on State Route 23 in the town of Oneonta without paying for several items. 

The incident occurred on July 30, 2022, at approximately 3:30 p.m.  The man is described as a light skinned male with a beard and tattoos on his forearms; he was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and a black hat.  He ran into the woods behind Walmart and JC Penny and troopers were unable to locate him.  

While at Walmart, the male was in the company of Adele F. Brod, age 60 of Oneonta.   She was arrested for taking items on the same day and charged with the misdemeanor of Petit Larceny on August 13, 2022.  She was issued appearance tickets to the Oneonta Town Court on September 6, 2022.  Brod was unable to tell troopers who the man was.
