Otego man charged with Predatory Sex Assault against Child

On December 19, 2022, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Oneonta arrested Robert T. Henness, age 24 of Otego, NY for the class “A” felony of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and the misdemeanor of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

An investigation revealed that on multiple occasions, Henness inappropriately touched a child who is less than 13-years-old.  Henness was processed at SP Oneonta and then transported to the Otsego County Jail for Centralized Arraignment and Processing.  He was remanded to the Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
