Woodbury, NY – On September 4, 2020, at approximately 8:50 p.m., State Police stopped a car on I-87 in the town of Woodbury a vehicle and traffic violation.  While interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle and the occupants was established.  The driver, Christina M. Reyes, 32, of Bronx, NY, and the passenger, Jeremie J. Rosario, 31, of New York, NY was found to be in possession of approximately 2.2 pounds of cocaine.

 

Rosario resisted arrest and after a brief struggle, was taken into custody.  Reyes was taken into custody without incident.  Both were transported and processed at SP Newburgh.

 

Reyes and Rosario were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree; a Class A Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell 3rd degree; a Class B Felony.

 

Rosario was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree; both Class A Misdemeanors.

 

The pair were virtually arraigned in front of the Town of Woodbury Court and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail.
