Coxsackie, NY – On November 6, 2020, at approximately 11:50 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Coxsackie, for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Jason K. Graham, 44, of Peekskill, NY, was found to be impaired by drugs while traveling with a 10-year old child. 


Graham was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany, where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).  He refused to submit to a blood draw to determine the drug content in his system and was subsequently charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs with a Child; a Class E Felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; a Class A Misdemeanor.


The child and Graham were turned over to a sober third party.  Graham was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Coxsackie Court on December 7, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
