Pennsylvania man arrested for drug possession in Genesee

On May 10, 2019, SP Amity Troopers arrested James M. Dunshie, 55, of Shinglehouse, PA for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Non-Original Container.

During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in the town of Genesee, Troopers observed Dunshie, a passenger, consuming pills. Further investigation led them to discover the pills contained hydrocodone, and were not in a valid prescription container. He was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing.

Dunshie was arraigned in Genesee Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in that court later this month.
