Pennsylvania man arrested for DWAI-Drugs after Belmont traffic stop

On June 1, 2021, SP Amity Troopers arrested Wade C. Putman, 60, of Westfield, PA for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

During a traffic stop on Willetts Avenue in the village of Belmont, Troopers observed Putman exhibiting obvious signs of impairment and determined he had been operating a motor vehicle while in an impaired condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene.  Putman was then arrested and transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, where a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation confirmed impairment.

Putman was released with appearance tickets for Belmont Village Court, where he is due to appear later this month.
